The limited relief sought by the petitioner in the present case is that the respondent no.1 / Appellate Authority (Divisional Commissioner) be directed to expeditiously decide the pending appeal bearing Appeal No.687/2024 filed by the petitioner under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 (Divisional Commissioner) submits that an endeavour shall be made to decide the application as expeditiously as possible. Let an endeavour be made to decide the same within a period of three months from today.

No further orders are required to be passed in the present petition at this stage. The same is, accordingly, disposed of.
