% 13.04.2021 The proceedings in the matter have been conducted through video conferencing.

Ms. Malvika Kalra, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that the petitioners do not wish to pursue these petitions as the contracts in question have, in any event, lapsed by efflux of time on 31.03.2021. However, Ms. Kalra states that the bank guarantees submitted by the petitioners are required to be released by the respondent-Punjab National Bank.

Ms. Arti Singh, learned counsel for the respondent-Punjab National Bank submits that the bank guarantees were given in connection with the empanelment of the petitioners and not in respect of any particular W.P. (C)8374/2020 and connected matters ^ Signaturej^alidJUSTKB/^
contract.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, the petitions are dismissed as withdrawn, alongwith pending applications. However, if the petitioners are so advised, it will be open to them to seek release of the bank guarantees in terms of the arrangements between them and the respondent- Bank.
