The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS (482 of the Cr.P.C.) seeks the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent and lor Sentence Review Board (SRB) to consider the case of the petitioner and grant Premature Release to the petitioner in FIR No. 165/2010, U/S302/201 IPC, P.S. Bhalswa Dairy; b) Pass such further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper."

In view of the averments made in the petition, it is directed that the present petition be treated as a representation to the competent authority and the latter is directed to decide the same in accordance with procedure applicable and inform the petitioner the outcome of the said representation.
