% 26.02.2020 CM No. 6895/2020 This application has been filed by the petitioners seeking stay of the order dated 31.01.2020 passed by the learned Appellate Tribunal under the provision of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2007, declining to grant interim stay on the order passed by the District Magistrate (East), dated 20.06.2019, ordering eviction of the petitioners from the property in question. It is noted that the main appeal itself has been directed to be listed for hearing on 18.03.2020. In the peculiar facts of the case and without setting any precedent to be followed in other cases, it is directed that on the petitioners paying a sum of Rs.20,000/- to the respondent no.1 within a period of one week from today, the order passed by the learned District Magistrate (East) shall not be enforced and the petitioners shall not be evicted from the property in question. The learned Appellate Tribunal is requested to dispose of the

appeal in accordance with the law on the next date of hearing fixed in the appeal, which is 18.03.2020, without granting any adjournment at least to the petitioners.
