CRL.M.C. 3437/2025 1.
The limited prayer in the present petition is for issuing directions to the trial Court to expedite the trial in case titled as, "Narcotic Control Bureau vs. Vaibhav Sharma" (SC No. 231/2022), in case No. VIII/73/DZU/2021 registered under Sections 8/22/29 of NDPS Act, 1985. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that charge sheet was filed in this case in the year 2022 and charges were settled on 03.08.2022, but till date, only two out of 15 witnesses, cited by the prosecution, have been examined.

3.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent, submits that delay in examining the witnesses is not attributed to the prosecution. She submits that trial Court is already over burdened with 36 time-bound cases. 4.
Having considered the submissions made, I find no reason to issue any directions for time bound disposal of the case. However, it is expected that trial Court would make all possible endeavors to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and shall not grant unnecessary adjournments. 5.
The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
