The present appeal has been received from the Intellectual Property Appellate Board ("IPAB"), consequent upon promulgation of the Tribunals Reforms (Regulation and Conditions of Service) Ordinance, 2021, after abolition of the IPAB.

The present appeal was transferred to this Court in the year 2022 and despite various efforts, the appellant has remained unserved. The order dated 15th July, 2024, in this regard, reads as under:

"The service reports of the appellant and its counsel are once again awaited, like they were for the last few hearings. Despite repeated efforts, the service could not be affected over the appellant. Moreover, none has appeared for the appellant ever on its own. The respondent had already been served. (Refer: order dated 01.12.2023).

List the matter before the Hon'ble Court for further directions on 25.09.2024."
