Counsels for both the parties point out that settlement agreement has been arrived at between the parties, with the facilitation of the Supreme Court Mediation Centre, which has been placed on record of this Court, dated 25th September 2024.

Full and final settlement amount of Rs. 3.50 crores, has been agreed upon, to be paid as per payment schedule, tabulated in para D of the settlement. There are other aspects of the settlement which have been suitably documented in the agreement.

Paragraph 9 of the agreement lists out the various actions to be taken by the parties, in respect of the proceedings pending against them. As per paragraph 9(3), it has been agreed that this writ petition be disposed of, in view of the above.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of in view of the settlement dated 25th September 2024.

Counsel for the petitioner has raised a concern, that in case the settlement has not been taken on record, by the Supreme Court, in S.L.P. (C) 8625/2024, titled Preeti Kapoor v. Vishal Kapoor, it is therefore, made clear that if the Supreme Court does not accept the settlement on any count, the parties are at liberty to file an application to revive this petition. 6.

The petition stands disposed of along with pending applications. 7.
