% 21.09.2017 It is submitted that appellant and complainant have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 4th September, 2017 vide a Settlement Agreement, inasmuch as settled amount has been paid by the appellant to the complainant; therefore offence under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003, may be permitted to be compounded. Learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 admits that appellant has paid the settled amount.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the appellant and the complainant, offence under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 is

permitted to be compounded. Appellant is acquitted. Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
