This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a. Issue a writ of certiorari, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, quashing the arbitrary and illegal Notice dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure P1) of cancellation of the Petitioner's admission from the B.Ed. (Semester II) programme at the Respondent University;

b. Issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing the Respondent University to restore the Petitioner's admission and name on the Rolls of the Department of Teacher Training and Non Formal Education (IASE), Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia University; c. issue the Admit Card to the Petitioner for the B.Ed. Semester II examination, allow him to appear in the remaining papers, and further permit him to appear in the supplementary examination( s) as and when conducted;"

As per the order dated 16.05.2025, the petitioner's result of B.Ed. (Semester-II) Examination 2025 has been brough in sealed cover to the Court.

The same was opened in the Court and upon perusal of the same it shows that the petitioner has failed in the exam of the course tilted as "Pedagogy of Mathematics".

Subsequently, vide order dated 03.12.2025, the petitioner was also permitted to participate in Semester-1-back paper Examination. 5.

The respondent shall declare the result of the same to the petitioner. The petitioner, if found eligible, will be permitted to further participate in his educational career. If the petitioner is not found eligible, for any reason, the respondent will inform the petitioner reasons for the same and the petitioner will be entitled to avail legal remedies in accordance with law.

For the said reasons, the prayers as sought in the petition have become infructuous.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.

The petitioner's result of B.Ed. (Semester-II) Examination 2025 handed over in Court today is taken on record.
