The status report has been filed in the sealed cover. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had facilitated commission of fraud by abusing his official position. It is alleged that the petitioner had violated the bank guidelines/circulars/norms in sanctioning loans/credit facilities in favour of certain group of companies, which were controlled by one Sh. Deepak Gupta.

On a pointed query, whether the petitioner has been cooperating in the investigation, the learned Special PP submits, on instructions, that he has been doing so.
It is seen that the FIRs in question were registered on 13.09.2017 and the investigations are still underway. 3.
In the status report filed on 07.08.2019, it was alleged that there were certain forgeries and fabrications. The status report handed across today
does not indicate that the petitioner was involved in any fabrication or forgery.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and it is directed that the petitioner be released on bail in the event of his arrest in connection with the seven FIRs in question - FIR Nos. (i) RC 219/2017 E 0020, (ii) RC 219/2017 E 0022, (iii) RC 219/2017 E 0023 (iv) RC 219/2017 E 0024 (v) RC 219/2017 E 0025 (vi) RC 219/2017 E 0026 and (vii) RC 219/2017 E 0027 dated 13.09.2017 - under Section 120B read with Section 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 31 (2) r/w 13 (1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Police Station CBI / EO-I/DLI.

The aforesaid is subject to the petitioner complying with the following conditions:- a) The petitioner shall submit a Personal Bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- and a surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer (IO) concerned. b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the IO in the investigation.
c) The petitioner shall appear before the concerned officers as and when called upon to do so.
d) The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Region (NCR) without due permission of the SHO/IO.

Needless to state that if any of the aforesaid conditions is violated, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall be liable to be revoked. 7.
The status report, which has been produced in the sealed cover, has
been returned to the concerned officer.

The petition is disposed of.
The pending application also stands disposed of.
