These petitions seek to challenge the judgments and orders dated 06.10.2020 passed by the learned District & Session Judge, North District, Rohini Courts Complex, Delhi in Criminal Appeal Nos. 71/2020, 72/2020, 73/2020 and 74/2020 whereby the appeals of the petitioner were dismissed against the judgments dated 29.06.2020 and orders on sentence dated 16.07.2020 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate North-04, Rohini Courts, Delhi In CC Nos. 9274/2016, 9275/2016, 9276/2016 and 9277/2016 thereby convicting petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 "NI Act".

The petitioner was convicted vide the judgments dated 29.06.2020 and orders on sentence dated 16.07.2020 under Section 138 of the NI Act and was sentenced for a fine of Rs. 5,82,630/. 3.

During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement dated 19.12.2024, wherein the disputes have been settled between the parties and the respondent is satisfied with the settlement. 4.

Ms. Heena, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent appears through video conference mode and confirms the same. 5.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties and the settlement is to the satisfaction of the respondent, the judgements dated 06.10.2020 and the judgements dated 29.06.2020 and orders on sentence dated 16.07.2020 are hereby set aside. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

The petitioner shall remain bound by the settlement agreement and the amounts lying deposited before this Court as well as District & Session Judge, North District, Rohini Courts Complex, Delhi shall be released in favour of the respondent and/or his nominee/counsel. 7.

The settlement is taken on record and the parties are bound to the same.

The petitions are disposed of accordingly.
