The present petition was filed by the petitioner as long back as on 25.02.2011 praying inter alia for directions to the respondents to promote him to the post of Subedar Major and to compensate him. 2.

The petition has remained under objections for the past almost five years. Finally, the Registry had placed this matter before the predecessor Bench on 18.12.2015, on which date, none had appeared for the petitioner and as a result, the present petition was renotified for today. The position remains the same even today. None is present for the petitioner.
