The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 45/2023 registered under Sections 420/468/471/34 IPC at Police Station Tilak Marg, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a reading of the allegations in the FIR would show that no case under the aforesaid offence is made out. He further submits that as per the allegations, at best, only a photocopy has been allegedly forged. In support of his submissions, learned counsel for the petitioners has placed reliance on the decisions in Parminder Kaur v. State of U.P. & Anr, reported in 2010 (1) SCC 322. 3.

Learned APP accepts notice and submits that the present FIR came to be registered on a complaint filed under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C by the respondent No.2. action taken report was called, as per which, a verification inquiry was conducted from the Delhi University and it was reported that the degree bearing roll number 341834 was forged. It is stated that the FIR is still at the early stage and the role of the accused persons is yet to be ascertained. He further states that the inquiry is still pending with the employer hospital with whom the petitioner No.1 had worked on the basis of the aforesaid forged degree.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, I find no ground to entertain the present petition at this nascent stage and the same is accordingly dismissed along with pending applications.
