O R D E R

% 12.08.2016 By the present petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 1586/2015 under Section 376/506 IPC registered at PS Uttam Nagar.

Learned APP for the State has taken me through the contents of the FIR. He also states that after the last date of hearing, password of the email ID has been given to the investigating officer and investigation is going on. As per the FIR, the allegations against the petitioner are that he harassed/raped the complainant in his house three months prior to the written complaint given by her.

The petitioner has placed on record photographs and chats between the parties even after the alleged incident which prima facie show that the parties were known to each other and had good relations.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has already joined the investigation and that the relationship between the two cannot be ruled out to be consensual in nature, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is thus directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25000/- with two sureties of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned and further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when directed by the investigating officer and will not leave the country without prior permission of the learned Trial Court.

Petition is disposed of.
