The present writ petition has been filed praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to maintain/construct/build/repair the road from House no. C-10, C.C. Colony to C-29, C.C. Colony, Delhi-110007. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a Resident Welfare Association ("RWA"), and is working for the welfare of the residents residing in the area of C.C. Colony, Delhi-110007. 3.
It is submitted that the road running from House no. C-10, C.C. Colony to C-29, C.C. Colony, is in very bad condition. 4.
Attention of this Court has been drawn to the photographs attached to the present petition, to show the existing condition of the road. Perusal of the photographs, as attached with the present writ petition, reflects a very sorry state of affairs, as the road is in complete shambles. 6.
Learned counsel for Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), on advance notice, submits that the tender for improvement and development of the road in the area in question from House No. C-10 to House No. C-29, CC Colony, was floated earlier.

He submits that the said tender was floated before the Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections, and on account of the said elections, as well as on account of certain objections from the Finance Department, further action could not be taken, for allotment of the tender work. 8.
Learned counsel for respondent/MCD submits that he has instructions to submit that the tender for improvement and development of the road in question, subject matter of the present writ petition, shall be now awarded within a period of four weeks, from today.

Accordingly, it is directed that the MCD shall do the needful and award the tender for the improvement and development of the road in C.C. Colony, Delhi-110007, within a period of four weeks from today. 10.
It is expected that the MCD shall ensure that the strict timelines, as per the contract, are adhered to, by its contractor. 11.
