CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU

O R D E R

% 26.09.2019 1.

This petition is part of a batch of petitions seeking similar reliefs. The petitioners in these batch petitions allege that they were induced to invest money on offers of lucrative rate of interest. On the basis of the complaint received, an FIR has already been filed. The petitioners, essentially, seek that coercive action be taken against the accused. 2.

It is seen that most of the averments in these petitions are verbatim and necessary details are absent. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has been pointedly asked as to whether in any of these petitions,

the details as to the manner in which the monies were paid (whether in cash or cheque); the entities in favour of whom cheques were issued; the amount and in the manner in which interest was received, have been stated. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to answer in the affirmative. He seeks time to file the necessary details. 3.

Considering that the petitioners seek investigation and coercive steps pursuant to their claim; the bare minimum that is required, is for the petitioners to provide complete material particulars. 4.

In this view, this Court does not consider it appropriate to entertain these petitions. The petition is dismissed, however, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a comprehensive petition providing complete facts with material particulars, including the details of the investments, the manner in which the same were made; the entities in favour of whom the cheques were made; interest received; manner of adjustment of interest, etc. VIBHU BAKHRU, J SEPTEMBER 26, 2019 MK
