The present revision petition is filed under section 25B (8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 to impugn the order dated 20.02.2019 passed by the court of Sh. Shirish Aggarwal, ARC-1, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi (hereinafter referred to as "the trial court") in E-12/2015 (New no. 79154/16) whereby the application for leave to defend filed by the petitioner/tenant was dismissed.

The respondent/landlord filed an eviction petition under section 14(1)(e) read with section 25B of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 in respect of shop measuring about 16ft x10 ft, with two shutters on the ground floor bearing no. 2362-63, Ward no. VII, Rodgran, Farash Khana, Delhi - 110006 against the petitioner/tenant on the ground of bona fide need. an application for leave to defend which was dismissed by the trial court vide the impugned order dated 20.02.2019, as a consequence of which, an eviction order was passed in favour of the respondent/landlord. 3.

The petitioner being aggrieved filed the present petition 4.

The counsel for the petitioner as well as the counsel for the respondent stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. The petitioner who is present in person in the court stated that he will vacate the tenanted premises on or before 15.08.2024. The statement made by the petitioner who is present in person is taken on record. 5.

In view of the submissions made by petitioner and the respective counsel for the parties, the petitioner is given time to vacate the tenanted premises on or before 15.08.2024. Accordingly, the present petition along with pending applications, if any, stands disposed of. DR.
