The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, ("Cr.P.C."), read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 182/2020 under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, ("IPC") and Section 66 of Information Technology Act, 2000 ("I.T. Act"), registered at Police Station Kanjhawala, Delhi. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner states that the FIR was registered four years back and they have joined and cooperated with the investigation, it is confirmed by the APP on instructions of the IO.

Some part of the investigation is yet to conclude and considering that the I.P. addresses have to be verified and located which were used for the misuse of the ID and password of District Magistrate, North West, for grant of fake epasses. 4.

In any event, the petitioner was granted interim protection by previous order of this Court dated 22nd May, 2024. Subject to the petitioner joining and cooperating in the investigation the present petition is allowed. In light of the above, the Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail. Consequently, in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25, 000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join investigation as and when directed and not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.

Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous. 8.
