The present application filed by the petitioner/claimant under Section 27 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeks a direction for summoning of the following 8 witnesses:- S.No. Name Designation Address 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the ongoing proceedings between the parties, which has commenced pursuant to this court's order dated 26.07.2019, the petitioner has, on 07.01.2020, already examined two witnesses but the remaining 8 witnesses are official witnesses, who are required to be summoned. 3.

Issue notice. Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and does not oppose the application.

Keeping in view the admitted position that the aforesaid eight witnesses are official witnesses as also the fact that the learned Arbitrator has already granted liberty to the petitioner to seek their summoning, the application is allowed. The witnesses at Sr. No.1 to 4 are directed to appear before the learned Arbitrator at 4 pm on 18.02.2020, the date already fixed along with the relevant records, witnesses at Sr. No.5 to 8 are directed to appear on the next date as may be fixed by the learned Arbitrator.

This order be communicated to the aforesaid eight witnesses through learned counsel for the respondent.

The application stands disposed of.
