This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of the FIR no. 167/2013 under Section 498A/406 IPC registered at PS Model Town.

A perusal of the FIR would show distinctly that there are detailed and specific allegations which have been made by complainant against the accused, including demands of dowry, incidents of coercion, as well as of physical assault. The necessity of repetition of the narrative in the FIR is not required.

Counsel appears on behalf of the complainant states that till date they have not returned the stridhan and other articles of the complainant. 5.

Notwithstanding, the respective contentions, there is no merit in the said petition.

Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
