In the present case, the defendants no. 2 to 5 have already been proceeded against ex parte vide order dated 6th December, 2022. The plaintiff does not press for any reliefs against the defendants no. 2 to 5. 2.

The suit has been proceeding only qua defendant no. 1/ Telegram FZLLC. 3.

Counsel for the parties agree that the present suit can be disposed of by working out an arrangement in terms of which the defendant no. 1 shall take down content infringing the copyright of the plaintiff in the future. 4.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, it is directed that the following arrangement shall operate between the parties: (i) In case the plaintiff comes across any content infringing the copyright of the plaintiff, URL(s) in respect of the same shall CS(COMM) 505/2020 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. be communicated to the defendant no. 1 at e-mail address, in@telegram.org (ii) The defendant no. 1 shall acknowledge the complaint made by the plaintiff within 24 hours.

(iii) Subject to verification/ investigation, the defendant no. 1 shall take down the infringing content in an expeditious manner, preferably within one (1) week from the date of the complaint. 5.

The suit is decreed in the aforesaid terms.
