O R D E R

% 09.10.2019 Petitioner is serving life sentence in FIR No.615/2007, registered at police station Sangam Vihar, Delhi for committing offences under Sections 302/201/34 IPC and is said to have already undergone incarceration of about twelve years without remission. In this petition through Jail, petitioner is seeking furlough for three weeks. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State submits that the status report dated 26th August, 2019 verifying the address particulars of petitioner's family has been placed on record but in view of order of 7th June, 2019 passed by the Office of the Director General of Prisons, Prison Headquarters, Tihar, Janak Puri, New Delhi and Punishment-Ticket dated 10th April, 2017, parole of two weeks only can be granted to petitioner. Heard.

In the interest of justice, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of two weeks from the date of his release on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent, subject to the following conditions:

i) The petitioner shall provide his mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working conditions at all times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent;

ii) The petitioner shall report at the local police station to mark his attendance on every alternate day at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole;

iii) The petitioner shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; and iv) The petitioner shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
