This is an application preferred on behalf of the Respondents seeking extension of three months for concluding the inquiry proceedings on the ground that the CMD vide order dated 23.08.2024 has appointed a new Inquiry Officer.

Albeit the application has been moved without specifying the stage of the inquiry proceedings and learned counsel is unable to apprise the court at what stage the inquiry is, however, in the interest of justice, two months' time is granted for completing the inquiry, making it clear that no further extension will be granted.
