The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 0157/2018, under Sections 406/420/468/471/120-B of the IPC registered with P.S. K.N. Katju Marg, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The present petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties.

The petitioners have placed a Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement Deed dated 17.05.2019 on record, which records the settlement between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2. In terms of the said settlement, petitioner no.1 has agreed to pay a sum of ₹14,00,000/- to respondent no.2 in full and final settlement of all her claims. It is stated that the said amount has been paid in full.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the
Investigating Officer. She states that she has no grievance against the petitioners. She also acknowledges that she has received a sum of ₹14,00,000/- and has no claims against the petitioners. She also joins the petitioners in praying that FIR in question be quashed. 5.
The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. They also affirm that they do not have any grievances or claims against respondent no.2.

In view of the statements made by the petitioners and respondent no.2, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 7.
Accordingly, the FIR bearing no.
0157/2018, under Sections 406/420/468/471/120-B of the IPC registered with P.S. K.N. Katju Marg, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. 8.
All the concerned parties shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein.
