Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 228/2025 of PS Ashok Vihar for offence under Section 290/106(1) IPC on the ground that legal representatives of the deceased have entered into compromise with the petitioner/accused. But on being pointed out that accepting such settlement would be sanctifying the concept of blood money, which is not recognized by any civilized society, learned counsel for petitioner on instructions seeks permission to withdraw this petition so that petitioner may face trial court proceedings.

Accordingly, the petition and pending application are dismissed as withdrawn.
