1. None appears on behalf of the petitioner when the matter is called out.

2. Even though, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner's claim for release of the due amount under the New Pension Scheme (NPS) as per Rules is under process and will be released in his favour within eight weeks.

3. In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondents, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition, which is, accordingly, disposed of.

4. Needless to state, the respondents will remain bound by their stand noted hereinabove.
