CRL.M.C. 3507/2025 & CRL.M.A. 15484/2025, CRL.M.A. 15485/2025 3.

The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 73/2017 dated 17.02.2017, registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, for offence under Section 354A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC'), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

4.

The FIR seems to have been the outcome of the petitioner's dispute with his neighbours.

5.

On an earlier occasion, the petitioner had sought quashing of the present FIR in W.P(CRL) 653/2022. The said petition was disposed of by this Court by order dated 28.03.2022 on a request The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. by the learned counsel for the petitioner to withdraw the petition The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 22/05/2025 at 12:13:26

with a limited prayer for direction to the Trial Court to expedite the proceedings. By order dated 28.03.2022, this Court had directed that the trial in the present FIR be expedited. 6.

The petitioner is essentially harassed because of the long pendency of the proceedings, despite the direction of this Court. 7.

The petitioner has annexed certain orders in this regard, however, the orders do not indicate that the trial has been unnecessarily delayed. The list of dates also seems to be incomprehensive.

8.

It is pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State that the trial has since proceeded and is at the stage of recording of evidence.

9.

Although the petitioner has not been able to show as to why the trial has not concluded, however, purely in the interest of justice and not for the reasons as mentioned by the petitioner in the petition, the learned Trial Court is again requested to expediate the trial in the present FIR.

10.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. 11.

All pending applications stand disposed of.
