CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV SACHDEVA

O R D E R

% 05.02.2018 1.

By this petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.187/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC, Police Station Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi.

2.

Parties have settled their disputes through the intervention of respectable persons.

The Memorandum of Settlement dated 27.01.2018 has been executed between the parties. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, under instructions from the petitioners, undertakes that the cross-FIR No.188/2015 under Sections CRL.M.C.568/2018

323/341/34 IPC, Police Station Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi, shall be compounded.

4.

Respondent No.2 & 3 present in Court in person, represented by counsel and identified by the Investigating Officer, confirm that the settlement has taken place through the intervention of the respectable persons and the Memorandum of Settlement dated 27.01.2018 has been executed between the parties and that they do not wish to press their complaint. In view of the same continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would also be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. 5.

Accordingly, FIR No. 187/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC, Police Station Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi, and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 6.
