O R D E R

% 11.10.2019 Quashing of FIR No. 370/2017, under Section 420/34, registered at police station Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi is sought on the ground that the subject matter of this FIR stands amicably resolved between the parties in terms of Memorandum of Settlement of 16th February, 2017. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that except petitioner No.5, all the petitioners are present in the Court and that petitioner No.5 is represented through petitioner No.2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State submits that parties are present in the Court and they have been duly indentified on the basis of identity proof produced by them.

Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submits that the dispute W.P.(Crl.) 2073/2019

with petitioners has been amicably resolved in terms of Memorandum of Settlement of 16th February, 2017. Respondent No.2 affirms the contents of his affidavit of 16th April, 2019 filed in support of this petition and submits that no grievance against petitioners survives and therefore, the FIR in question and proceedings emanating therefrom be quashed. In view of the fact that the dispute between the parties stands amicably resolved, no useful purpose would be served in continuance with the proceedings arising out of FIR in question. Consequentially, FIR No. 370/2017, under Section 420/34, registered at police station Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and the proceedings emanating therefrom, are hereby quashed qua petitioners.

This petition stands disposed of.
