% 02.02.2018 Petitioner no. 2 is wife of petitioner no.1; whereas petitioner no.1 is brother-in-law (devar) of respondent no.2. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their elders in the family, therefore, FIR No. 2751/2015 under Sections 509/354/354(B)/323/34 IPC registered at police station Mehrauli may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Rajiv Singh of police station Mehrauli. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, she has no
objection in case the FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
