The present petition has been filed by Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, challenging the attachment letter bearing no.

STOC-708/Nodal-7/RECOVERY/GSTN-27AAGCD1045D1Z4/202425/B-139 dated 6th March, 2025 issued by Department of Goods and Service Tax, Mumbai as also the consequent letter dated 14th March, 2025 (hereinafter, 'impugned letters') issued by the Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (hereinafter, 'CDSIL').

The case of the Petitioner is that they are residents of Delhi and are aggrieved by the alleged arbitrary freezing of their personal Demat accounts by the Respondents vide the impugned letter. According to the Petitioners, their Demat accounts were frozen without any basis. 5.

This matter was listed the day before yesterday i.e. 19th May 2025 and was adjourned for today for instructions to be sought by the Respondent No.2. 6.

Today, ld. Counsel for the Petitioner at the outset has informed the Court that the Demat accounts of the Petitioner have been de-freezed. The communication in this regard has been received by the Petitioners this morning by email. A copy of the said email has been handed over to the Court today and the same is taken on record.

In view of the above, the ld. Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners no longer wish to press the present writ petition. 8.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed in view of subsequent development.
