By way of present petition, the petitioners seek issuance of appropriate direction to the respondents regarding protection of petitioner Nos.1 and 2 from the family of petitioner No.1. 2.

A perusal of the paper book would reflect that at the time of filing of the petition, the Status Report has been requisitioned in which it has been stated that the petitioner No.1 was a minor.

Learned ASC (Crl.) for the State submits that as on date, the petitioner No.1 has turned major.

Today, the petitioner No.1 has appeared through VC and states that she wants to live with the petitioner No.2 but apprehends threats at the hands of her family. The family of petitioner No.1 being her parents have appeared on the previous dates of hearing.

major now, the present petition is disposed of with the direction that the concerned I.O. and SHO at P.S. Seemapuri, Delhi will provide their mobile numbers to the petitioners and shall ensure that the requisite steps are taken with regard to their safety and protection. The SHO concerned shall also ensure that the family members of the petitioner No.1 are sensitized, who are also directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioners. 6.
