The petitioner is present in person.

He has referred to the report furnished by the learned Trial Court, which indicates that the examination-in-chief of the complainant was recorded on the last three occasions. The report also indicates that efforts would be made by the Trial Court to expedite the examination of the complainant as well as the other witnesses.

The petitioner states that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to the Trial Court to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by requesting the Trial Court to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of six months from today. 4.
