During the course of hearing, the petitioner confines himself to seeking a limited relief viz. that the complaint filed by the petitioner before The Senior Citizen Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Tribunal Kanjhawala (North-West), Delhi under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Rules thereunder be decided expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 submits, on instructions, that the said complaint is under active consideration by the concerned authority i.e. District Magistrate Kanjhawala. It is submitted that the matter shall be taken up for hearing on priority and shall be disposed of within a period of 3 months from today.

The above redresses the grievance of the petitioner. 4.
