The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on parole. It is petitioner's case that his mother requires knee surgery. He further states that parole is also necessary to reestablish social ties. The status report has been filed which indicates that the medical report furnished by the petitioner has been verified. It is also indicated that there is no emergency and no date for the said surgery has been given to the patient (the petitioner's mother). 2.
In view of the above, it was suggested to the petitioner that he may apply for parole after the date of surgery is fixed. However, the petitioner submits that he would not seek any further extension of parole on the ground of his mother's ill health.

The nominal roll has been furnished which indicates that the petitioner has been in custody for six years nine months and six days as on
05.08.2019 and his conduct in the jail has been satisfactory. It is indicated that the petitioner was released on parole from 01.12.2017 to 29.12.2017 and no misconduct during the said period was reported. 4.
In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and it is directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks. This is subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

The petitioner shall give his contact details to the Jail Authorities and shall ensure that he can be reached at all times. The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
