Present Public Interest Litigation has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to remove respondent No. 2/Prof. Hemant Kukreti from the position of Officer on Special Duty in respondent No. 1-college and to fill the position of Principal in respondent No.1-college through regular appointment.

Learned counsel for petitioner admits that Delhi University has initiated the process of appointing the Principal of Shyam Lal College Evening.

Since the Selection Committee has already been appointed, the present writ petition is closed. However, in the event, the Principal is not appointed within two months, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of the present petition.
