% 03.10.2018 Considering the fact that the Chairman of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions has been appointed as it is indicated to us, the petition so far as it seeks a mandamus for appointment of a Chairman, is rendered infructuous.

With regard to the allegations made that the review applications were being decided by the members, who are not judicial members and the breach of law laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Union of India v. R. Gandhi, President, Madras Bar Association are concerned, we direct the

Commission to ensure that henceforth all proceedings, statutory in nature are held and decided by an appropriate bench in accordance with the aforesaid judgment and requirement of the statute.

The petition stands disposed of.

CM. No. 4395/2017 Dismissed as infructuous.
