Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this petition, the promotion as prayed for has been granted, however, submits that the arrears are yet to be paid.

The petitioner shall approach the respondent and complete the formalities for payment of the arrears and the respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law expeditiously not later than two months from the date of doing the needful by the petitioner.
