Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for quashing of FIR No.0096/2024 under Sections 307/201 IPC, registered at PS: Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi and all Proceedings emanating therefrom, on the basis of settlement, in respect of which affidavits have been filed by informant Mayank and injured Ritik.

Learned ASC for the State vehemently opposes the quashing of FIR on the ground that stab injury was caused by the Applicant to injured Ritik, which were grievous in nature. Moreover, Chargesheet already stands filed and the Charges have also been framed.

It is evident from the FIR that grievous injuries with a knife was caused by the Applicant, for which present FIR No.0096/2024 was registered under Sections 307/201 IPC.

Considering the nature of allegations, it is not a fit case for quashing of the FIR on the basis of settlement.
