The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner - Mr. Ram Prakash, s/o Mr. Chet Ram under Article 226 of the Constitution of India who claims to be an existing vendor Opp. Shop No. 118, Sabzi Market, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi (hereinafter "the vending site"). 4.

participate in the survey of Street Vendors which is currently being undertaken by the Town Vending Committee (hereinafter "TVC"). 5.

The case of the Petitioner is that he has been vending at the vending site prior to the Street Vendors (Protection Of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. It is also stated that he has various challans to prove the fact that he has been vending prior to the Street Vendor (Protection of Livelihood of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

Reliance is placed upon the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(C). 2417/2025 titled Gauri Shankar v. New Delhi Municipal Council & Anr. and WP(C) 3443/2025 titled Anil Kumar Gupta v. New Delhi Municipal Council & Anr. wherein the Petitioners were permitted to participate in the survey currently being undertaken by the concerned TVC. 7.

In view of the above facts, it is directed that subject to verification of the Petitioner and his documents, the Petitioner shall be permitted to participate in the survey undertaken by the TVC. 8.

Petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
