The matter has been placed on an office note for rectification of a typographical error in paragraph 5 of the order dated 18.12.2019. 2.

The suit was decreed in terms of a settlement between the parties by the said order. However, while directing refund of 50% of the court fees, Section 16 of the Court Fees Act, 1870 has been referenced instead of Section 16A of the said Act, which is the applicable provision. 3.

In these circumstances, the reference to Section 16 of the said Act in paragraph 5 of the order dated 18.12.2019 will be read as Section 16A. 4.
