% 23.02.2018 It is submitted that a quarrel took place between petitioners and respondent no.2 on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 218/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC at police station Rajouri Garden on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably in terms of Compromise Deed dated 6th September, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Vikash of police station Rajouri Garden. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, he has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2, to this effect, is on record. During the course of hearing, petitioners have offered jointly to pay respondent no.2 `1,00,000/- towards medical expenses incurred and mental

trauma suffered by him.

Respondent no.2 has accepted and received the entire settled amount of `1,00,000/- in the Court. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
