The present petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act') has been filed by the Petitioner seeking appointment of an independent sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

It is stated by learned Counsel for the parties that a transfer petition filed under Section 25 CPC before the Apex Court has been allowed and Justice (Retd.) Gita Mittal, has been appointed as an Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties, meaning thereby, the present petition has become infrucutous.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of as infructuous along with pending application(s), if any.
