Heard the appellant in person and learned counsel representing the respondents.

After arguing at some length, the appellant states that he may be permitted to withdraw the Letters Patent Appeal, however, he may be given a week's time to file the appeal in terms of the order dated 21.04.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge.

authority in terms of Section 340 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 within ten days from today.

As already directed by learned Single Judge in the order dated 21.04.2025, the appeal which may be filed by the appellant under this order shall be decided within a period of three months from the date the appeal is presented before the Appellate Authority. The learned Single Judge has already issued a direction that issue of limitation shall not come in the way of the appellant and his appeal shall be decided by the Appellate Authority on merits, in accordance with law. We reiterate such directions. 5.
Pending applications also stand disposed of.
