The present Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') has been filed jointly on behalf of the petitioner and the respondents No. 2 and 3 seeking quashing of FIR No. 31/2025 dated 21.03.2025 registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road, for offences punishable under Sections 281/324(3)/324(4) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC') and Sections 185/185 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 ('M.V.Act') in terms of the Memorandum of Understanding ('MOU') dated 08.05.2025.

present in person whose motorcycle (RJ 05PS 0517) and car (DL 14CC 9878) were hit by the car of the petitioner bearing registration No.DL 1CAA 9598. The parties have been identified by their respective counsels and the Investigating Officer concerned. The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily. 6.

Today, the respondent Nos. 2 and 3, who are present in person submit that they have received Rs.20,000/- each for damage caused to their vehicles and have no objection, if the FIR is quashed. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a Harvard Graduate and who has a bright career and has 2 or 3 start ups all over the world, who has only been visiting India when this unfortunate incident happened. He is permanently residing abroad and the entire career would be ruined in case the FIR and the proceedings emanating therefrom are not quashed.

Considering the totality of circumstances, the subject FIR No. 31/2025 dated 21.03.2025 registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road, for offences punishable under Sections 281/324(3)/324(4) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC') and Sections 185/185 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 ('M.V.Act') is quashed subject to deposit of Rs.20,000/- in Delhi High Court Advocates' Welfare Trust within a period of two days. 9.

The petition is disposed of.
