W.P.(C) 8325/2019 Issue notice. Learned counsel for the respondent/ RCS accepts notice. The petitioner has preferred this petition raising grievances with regard to the manner in which the management of the respondent society has been conducted by its Managing Committee. He also seeks appointment of Administrator to look after the day-to-day affairs of the respondent society
till the investigation/ inquiry is completed against the outgoing Managing Committee. The term of the outgoing Managing Committee expired on 23.07.2019. Though the Returning Officer was appointed on 31.05.2019, but according to him, steps have not been taken by the Returning Officer to hold the elections.
Learned counsel for the respondent/ RCS submits that the Returning Officer has conducted the elections and the new Managing Committee stands elected unopposed. He has tendered in Court a list of newly elected unopposed Managing Committee of the respondent society in the GBM held on 11.08.2019. The said list is taken on record. In view of the aforesaid development, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to raise all his grievances either before the newly elected Managing Committee, or before the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. In case the petitioner raises any grievance, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies shall deal with the same expeditiously. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
