O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed alleging that a heritage building of significant cultural and historical value located at 3, East Park, Karol Bagh, New Delhi, has been unlawfully demolished by the private respondents, without obtaining the necessary approvals from the Delhi Urban Art Commission ("DUAC"), and Archaeological Survey of India ("ASI").

down and unauthorized construction is being undertaken, on the property in question.

Responding to the aforesaid allegations, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.2-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), on advance notice, has handed over certain photographs of the property in question, which are taken on record.

By referring to the photographs as handed over to this Court, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2/MCD submits that the property in question is an old and occupied residential building. She further submits that the said photographs are of yesterday, i.e., 19th May, 2025. She submits that no construction work is being undertaken on the property in question. 5.

The aforesaid statement made by learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2/MCD is taken note of.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, no orders are required to be passed by this Court.

However, in case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any unauthorized construction in future, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Special Task Force ("STF") constituted by the Supreme Court, in terms of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Devender Versus Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Ors., in W.P.(C) 1807/2018 and Fazruddin Versus DDA and Ors. in W.P.(C) 4649/2017.

Noting the aforesaid, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, stands disposed of.
