The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking issuance of provisional Certificate of Vending in terms of Section 4 of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (hereinafter "the Act"). 3.

The Petitioner's case is that he is legally vending on the footpath, opposite M-85, 80 Feet Road, Block-M, Greater Kailash-II, South Zone, Ward S-87, New Delhi (hereinafter "the vending area"). It is stated that the nature and type of vending licence is dry fruits and snacks. was also considered. However, the Petitioner is yet to be issued the provisional Certificate of Vending. Hence, the present petition. 4.

Ms. Kalra appearing for the MCD submits that if the Petitioner approaches the TVC, the said certificate would be issued after verification. 5.

Heard the ld. Counsel for the parties. Let the Petitioner approach the concerned Town Vending Committee with all the relevant documents for issuance of the Certificate of Vending within a period of 30 days, subject to the verification of documents.

The Petitioner shall, however, abide by the terms and conditions of the Certificate of Vending that may be issued.

Petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
