O R D E R

The O.A. No.3496/2015 filed by the Respondent before the Central Administrative Tribunal was disposed of with the following directions:

"10. In the facts and circumstances, we dispose of the present OA with a direction to the competent authority amongst the respondents to revisit the impugned orders and consider the applicant's aforesaid pending representation dated 06.06.2016 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order keeping in view the provisions of Rule 12 of Delhi Police (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1980 and the judgment of this Tribunal in Sukhdev Singh (supra) as expeditiously as possible and preferably within eight weeks of receipt of a copy of this order."

After some arguments, learned counsel representing the Petitioners, on instructions from the concerned official, submits that keeping in view the provisions enshrined under Rule 12 of the Delhi The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Police (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1980, the Department will decide the Respondent's Representation dated 06.06.2016 by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Keeping in view the aforesaid position, the present Petition is disposed of.

The Competent Authority shall decide the aforesaid Representation expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks.

Needless to observe that this Court has not made any expression on the merits of the case.

The pending application also stands closed.
