The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 609/2016 registered under Sections 308/384/34 IPC at P.S. Amar Colony, South East Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations in the FIR, the petitioners gave beatings to the complainant with sticks and iron rods as a result of which injuries were sustained by the complainant on the head.

Learned APP for the State submits that the Status Report has been placed on record. A perusal of the same would show that all the accused have various involvements in other cases of similar nature and gravity, which are pending trial. It is further informed that the petitioner Nos. 2 to 4 are also BCs of their respective localities.

After going through the material placed on record and keeping in mind the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, I find no ground to entertain the present petition, consequently, the same is dismissed.
